Grass-Roots Construction

To build a quality living environment for people's need in the 21st century, the increase in parks and greenlands , maintenance of street lights, ditches, sewage system and other infrastructure and public facilities are the core work of city administration Thus far, there are more than 10 parks completed. Among them are Yang-Ming Park, Tong-An Park, Tong-Shin Park, Yan-Pin Park, Tong-The Park and Min-Chou park.

To realize the "Park-City" ideal, the city government is to activity develop those planned places into parks to encourage people to nurture public parks. TheKon-Liou park, which is under construction, is the second largest park in the city. Besides, in compliance with county government's policy, a "Women's" and a "Youngmen's Welfare service Center" are being constructed to provide people with more space for leisure activities in order to upgrade the quality of lives.
